Does Ouro Labs replace existing institutional systems?

Ouro Labs is designed as an operational layer that can work alongside institutional systems. Many environments begin with inventory and workflow visibility rather than replacing every existing tool overnight.

Can different laboratories use different workflows?

Yes. Ouro Labs supports laboratory-specific flexibility while still enabling institutional perspective where role-based access requires it.

What does implementation involve?

Typical engagements include discovery, workspace configuration, initial data setup, user onboarding, a guided pilot period, and a review of outcomes before expansion.

Is Ouro Labs only an inventory system?

No. Inventory is often the entry point, but Ouro Labs is built as an operational intelligence platform for inventory, workflows, people, and institutional visibility.

What data is needed to start a pilot?

Pilots usually begin with discovery of current inventory and workflow practices, then workspace configuration and a practical initial dataset. Exact requirements vary by laboratory and institution.

Security

How is data separated between organizations?

Workspaces are separated by tenant boundaries. Authentication identifies the user; Ouro Labs determines authorized workspace membership and permissions.

Is Ouro Labs SOC 2 or HIPAA certified?

Ouro Labs does not claim SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO, or similar certifications unless and until they are formally achieved and published. Current public security language covers Auth0 authentication, RBAC, tenant separation, and encryption in transit.

Early access

What does requesting early access mean?

Early access is a deliberate conversation. Engagement may involve discovery, pilot consideration, or further evaluation depending on the environment and fit.

How quickly will Ouro Labs respond to an early access request?

Response timing depends on fit and capacity. Ouro Labs does not promise an exact SLA on the public site; qualified environments receive a follow-up for discovery or next steps.

Can users belong to multiple workspaces?

Yes. Users with membership in multiple workspaces can select the appropriate environment during workspace discovery after signing in.

Does Ouro Labs support institutional login?

Ouro Labs uses Auth0-based authentication and is designed to support institutional identity patterns, including organization-aware access flows.
